Wind and hail damage found, documented and repaired, from lifted shingles to dented vents and gutters.
Roofing
Hail and high winds don't always leave damage you can see from the ground. Hail can bruise shingles and knock off their protective granules, which shortens a roof's life even when nothing leaks yet. Wind can lift and crease shingles, break the seal strip that holds them down, or tear them off entirely.
After a storm, a close inspection shows what was damaged: shingles, flashing, vents, skylights, gutters and downspouts. Openings that let water in can be covered temporarily, and the repair or replacement is planned once the extent of the damage is clear.
How it works
Call or send a request with your address and what you're seeing: a leak, missing shingles, hail damage or just an old roof. Photos help if you have them.
The shingles, flashing, vents, pipe boots and gutters are checked, along with the attic or ceiling where water shows up, to find the cause and not just the stain.
You get a quote that spells out the scope of work and the materials, with options when there's more than one sensible way to fix the roof.
The job is scheduled around the weather and your calendar. When it's done, the site is cleaned up, nails and debris included, and the finished work is walked through with you.

FAQ
From the ground, look for dents in gutters, downspouts, vents and siding, and for granules washed out of the downspouts. On the roof itself, hail leaves dark spots where granules were knocked off and soft, bruised areas in the shingles. If you see dented metal, have the roof checked even if it isn't leaking.
It's safer not to. Wet or damaged shingles are slippery, and storm damage can hide weakened areas. Take photos from the ground, note the date of the storm, and leave the climbing to a roofer with the right safety equipment.
Many homeowner's policies cover sudden damage from hail and wind, but coverage, deductibles and deadlines for reporting damage vary. Check your policy, document the damage with photos and contact your insurer. They decide what's covered; an inspection gives you a clear picture of the damage before the adjuster visits.
